Playing House

The kids love to play house. Last summer Camden was the baby and got pushed around in the baby stroller, this summer it is Tahlia. She loves it! Kairi loves being the mom and in charge, obviously Reagan wasn't playing or she would have been in charge! I had to take a few pictures... too cute!

Car Wash

About a week ago we went to the car wash. Camden and Tahlia did not want to do it. Camden's way of dealing with things lately has been to close his eyes and turn away, he did this at the fireworks too! Tahlia was just crying. Alan and I thought it was a little funny so I took some quick pictures.

So cute... as soon as the driers shut off he knew we were finished and he opened his eyes.

Look at that face!

Alan's Birthday

Alan's birthday was Saturday July 11, so this is just a little late. He decided that he wanted a day free from kids. So, he arranged with his parents to take them. We all went to dinner at Red Robin, go figure, and then played some games at his parents. Then all of the kids spent the night. We were able to sleep in! It has been a long time since that has happened. I think it was about 9:30 when we woke up and had to get moving so we could make it to Transformers! After the movie, which was really good, we spent the afternoon doing whatever we felt like... weird! Then we went to a soccer game. It was a really hot night. I was wishing we were in the shade. I ended up to be a good game. We beat a pretty good team, at least that what Alan told me. The game got over around 8 and then reality hit as we went to get our kids. We had a great day! Happy Birthday Alan, I love you!

4th of July

We stayed home for the 4th of July this year. Alan took Friday off so we went swimming (I need to get pictures from Megan). We thought the pool would be really busy on Saturday, so we went early. We had a fun time. Reagan loves the water, she continues to amaze us with how brave she is becoming! Kairi is still pretty timid, but has a good time. Camden and Tahlia just wanted to be carried around at first, but both would "jump" off the side by the end. We had the pool to ourselves for a little while which was very nice.

Saturday night we meet Megan and Justin at Riverton Park at 7. We went to Taco Time and got burritos to eat first. After we ate we played on the toys and played golf and baseball before the fire works started. A little before 10 someone let off one of their own fireworks and Camden got scared and wouldn't look up for the rest of the night. Tahlia seemed unimpressed by the fireworks... at least she wasn't crying. Kairi and Reagan both enjoyed them. It's always fun to see all of the colors and patterns that fireworks make. We got home around 11 and everyone was tired... we went straight to be.

Mary had a great idea... we all need to be in Idaho Falls for the fireworks next year... it has been awhile!

New Driveway

It finally happened... a new driveway! It only took 5 years! It has been getting progressively worse and our HOA decided it was time to replace it. They came July 2nd @ 7:30 and they were finished by around 4:30! We can drive on it for two weeks, but it is worth it!

Finished with Kindergarten!

Reagan's last day of kindergarten was July 2nd! What a great year she had. We are amazed at how much she has learned and how much she has grown up. She loves school! She loved her teacher, Mrs. Beckstrom, and is going to miss her. One of her last days of school they had a field day. She got to wear her class shirt, all the kids drew a picture of themselves and put them all on a shirt! The school rented blow up slides and play equipment! Reagan had a blast. Before Reagan left for her last day of school she wrote a thank you card to her teacher. She is such a good writer. She brought home all the the things that they had worked on throughout the year like her poetry book and journal. She showed me every paper as soon as we got home. I can't believe she is going to be in first grade! She excited for summer vacation, but can't wait to be in her new class. Way to go Reagan!

Dinner and Feeding Ducks

After Leslie's baby shower, we all went to Red Robin, I can' believe Idaho Falls has one, then we went to the falls to feed the ducks. While we were eating a man in the Red Robin suit was walking around. Dane thought he wanted to meet it but started crying when he got close, Camden did the same thing. Funny boys. After dinner Mary and I went and got bread and met everyone at the river. The water was really high! The ducks weren't as hungry... I'm sure that had been fed a lot that day. Then we walked and let the kids see the falls. The falls are amazing. All of the water... It was a fun way to end our day.

Weird light in this picture....

Reagan and Kairi love seeing the temple Alan and I were married in!

Leslie's Baby Shower

My baby sister is having her first baby! We went to Idaho Falls for the baby shower that was on June 27th. We had it at her house, Grandma Sautter's house, at 3:00. Several of our family couldn't make it... thanks to those who could. He had a great time. We spent a lot of time talking. In my family there are 31 grandkids and most are married with kids, so we need to catch up whenever we can! Leslie had a time of day shower, for example play time, bed time, eating time, etc. She got a lot of great gifts! She shouldn't need much else. Mary was in charge of the game. She rounded up baby pictures of my parent and all of us kids, and Tyson's parents and kids. It was fun guessing who everyone was. When we saw my picture, we saw how much Tahlia really looks like my side of the family. Thanks for the game Mary! Leslie is due until August 14th... we can't wait to see Wyatt!

Kids Pictures

We tried around Christmas last year to get a group kid picture, but Tahlia got too tired. Our photographer wanted to get their pictures, but we had a hard time connecting on a time. We finally did on June 13th! We went to her house were she has a studio. Camden and Tahlia were awful! I don't know what was wrong but taking their picture was like pulling teeth! Kayleen, our photographer, is amazing patient and did the best she could. She had to edit cookies out of mouths and still Tahlia had one in the only decent group picture. I can't wait until they are out of this stage! Here are some of the pictures!
