Flying a Kite

For family home evening last Monday we promised the kids that we would have a picnic at the park and fly a kite if it was windy enough. Alan got home from work a little early and packed us a dinner. When I got home with the kids we loaded everything and left. We ate dinner first and then Alan got the kite ready to fly. We were worried that there would not be enough wind... thankfully we were wrong. We were able to get the kite up for a little while. We decided to fly Kairi's kite and it was almost too much for her to handle, but she loved it. They are looking forward to going again really soon!
