Bath Time

Alan was a little later than usual going into work today.  While I was getting ready I heard him getting Camden out of bed.  I was glad that he was helping me but wondered what was going on after a few minutes.  My first thought was that he woke up with a dirty diaper and it had gotten on his bed.  Then next thing I heard was Alan asking for the camera.  I thought for sure something had happened.  I went and grabbed the camera and went into the bathroom.  Nothing had happened, Alan just felt like giving him a bubble bath.  Camden was in the tub with bubbles on his face.  Camden loves taking a bath so it was a little hard to get him out when it was time.

Horse Riding

Last night for family home evening we went to Lori and Chris Beisinger's to ride horses.  The girls were really excited especially Kairi because she remembers riding a horse with Uncle Bryce.  We drove down to Spanish Fork and the kids road horses until the bugs started coming out.  The girls were surprisingly brave and had several turns!  Camden even got on for a few minutes.  After riding, the kids were getting in a wagon and riding down a hill.  Kairi loved it!  I'm sure we will all remember this for a long time.

Patrick & Kate's Wedding

Patrick and Kate were married Friday July 25, 2008.  They were married in Kate's grandparents back yard.  It was 104 degrees as we pulled up to the house at 5 p.m.!  We were excited for the event but not for the heat!  The wedding was quick and nice.  We tried to take pictures after the wedding, but I'm afraid about how they will turn out.  We tried to get a family picture from the photographer because we were all dressed up, if they turn out I'll post them.  The kids were a little restless with it being so hot.  When the sun covered the back yard they got a little better.  They found a swing that they pretended to be an airplane and flew all over.  It was really fun listening to them.  We got bubbles to blow on the happy couple and the girls had a blast with them.  Kairi spilled a whole bottle on her skirt and 2 on the ground and Reagan spilled a couple herself.  After Patrick and Kate left on their honeymoon we helped take presents to their apartment and then went home, where we all fell fast asleep!

A Work in Progress

I have wanted to create a blog for awhile now, but it took my sister Nancy starting one to really get me going.  I am learning a lot!  I still haven't figured everything out, so I will be adding to my blog as I learn.  I am loving this and hope it will help family and friends keep up with me and my family.
